Folk and electronic, ethereal and epic, sung in romantic English, Erotic Market’s fourth album was conceived with co-composer Romain Montiel and producer Julien Jussey. At times, it takes us back to Alt-J, at other times to Florence + The Machine, and sometimes to Ibeyi. A sort of appeal to Gaia and fatality, the artist becomes a priestess, the one who stops time when the threat looms, and who relies on the strength of water and earth to find appeasement. A tale of gratitude with a sober, sensual joy, it immediately acts as a refuge for those seeking to catch their breath.
